Take one psychology student who once swore she’d never own a racing bike, add one geeky engineer with far too many degrees, and drop them on a blind date in a VLI-VLI Leuven cantus (a party organized by Leonie's sorority).

Fast-forward seven years:

- Their very first evening ended with a tipsy kiss on the cheek, accompanied by more beer than strictly advisable.

- With a little help from his friends, Max finally took the first steps toward asking Leonie on a date.

- Two months later, they were already trekking through the Alps, where a “maybe” quickly turned into love.

- After four months, Max decided to travel through South America, thus Leonie booked a trip to Peru after knowing him for only half a year and skipped 2 weeks of university.

- They spent so much time together that she practically moved into his coloc room.

- Schaerbeek became their home, completed with cozy dinner parties on their green terrace.

- Max has taken Leonie on countless hikes and cycling adventures, and even coached her through her first marathons.

- Leonie now owns a better racing bike than Max (and reminds him of it often).

- Along the way, she taught Max the art of actually following a cooking recipe. While he introduced her to the mysteries of “Machine Learning” and “Structural Health Monitoring".
